Car fluid storage tank, also known as car fluid storage tank, is installed on the air conditioning evaporator and compressor suction pipe. It is a protective component used to prevent liquid refrigerant from flowing into the compressor and generating a liquid hammer. It is an important component of the compressor, playing a role in storage, gas-liquid separation, filtration, noise reduction, and refrigerant buffering. It is impossible to ensure complete evaporation of refrigerant during the operation of automotive air conditioning systems; That is to say, the refrigerant coming out of the evaporator will have liquid refrigerant entering the accumulator. Due to the fact that the unevaporated liquid refrigerant falls directly to the bottom of the accumulator due to its specific gravity, the evaporated refrigerant will enter the compressor from the outlet of the accumulator, thereby preventing the compressor from sucking in liquid refrigerant and causing liquid hammer.
In order to prevent impurities in the pipeline from directly entering the compressor during the operation of the car's liquid storage tank, a filter screen will be installed between the intake and exhaust pipes of the liquid storage tank to prevent impurities from entering the compressor. During the long-term operation of the compressor, a certain amount of lubricating oil will be discharged together with the evaporated refrigerant and enter the storage tank through the pipeline. Due to the "oil return hole" in the outlet pipe welded at the bottom of the reservoir, the lubricating oil deposited at the bottom of the cylinder will be forced by the suction force of the compressor, and then return to the outlet pipe of the reservoir to enter the compressor again, thereby lubricating and protecting the compressor.
